MANSFIELD -- Spitzer Automotive has added the Kia brand to the Mansfield dealership.
The addition will create jobs. The dealership employs more than 20 people and plans to hire 20 more in the next six months.
Plans for the dealership include moving to a larger, state-of-the-art facility and adding more brands, the company said.
"Kia is the fastest-growing brand in the United States, and we are very excited to bring it to the north central Ohio market," said Matt Studer, general manager of Spitzer Motors of Mansfield. "Having both the Dodge and Kia brands available at the same location allows us to provide an even larger variety of quality vehicles for our customers."
Spitzer Motors of Mansfield has served north central Ohio since 1954 with a focus on Dodge vehicles. The local Spitzer shop will be the lone dealer in north central Ohio to provide both sales and service for Kia vehicles.
Kia Motors America has been selling cars in the United States since 1994. It provides a wide range of fuel-efficient vehicles, including the award-winning Kia Sorrento and Kia Optima.
